Cumulus Media, which is the second largest broadcast chain in the nation, has done a bit of house cleaning on two of its stations that it owns in Connecticut-On Friday, three staffers on news talk 600 WICC received their walking papers:news director Tim Quinn, who had been an ICC fixture since 1973,David Smith, who hosted "The Exchange" & Brian Smith (no relation),who hosted the "Afternoon News & Variety Show"-Jim Buchanan who was on middays with his "Talk Of The Town",will take over afternoon drive-Dennis Miller's syndicated show will air in Buchanan's former time slot-Consumer advocate Clark Howard will now be heard afternoons from 1-4 PM-WICC's sister station,AC ratings champ,WEBE 108,has dismissed Mary Lee-She was the co-hostess/traffic reporter on "The WEBE Wake Up Morning Show"-The program's host Norman Ricsu is staying put-These changes came about because of the dismal economy.

I goofed-The correct spelling of the morning air personality on WEBE 108 is R-I-C-Z-U.
