WLNG is a unique station in that it's locally owned & operated-Yes,they do have a very deep playlist-You've got to give credit for the station's success to program director Paul Sidney-He knows what the listeners want to hear-Most oldies stations generally avoid playing the pre-1964 oldies-Sidney is obviously aware there's a huge audience for that music.

If you enjoy the pre-1964 oldies,tune in to "Sock Hop Saturday Night" on WLNG-Its host is Mark Edwards-The show was previously heard on WICC 600 in Bridgeport,CT from 1994-2003-It was the highest rated show in the station's history.
