BT40--ONLY ON XM70's!!!
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2009 -- Until recently, XM Radio's 70's channel didn't receive a single solitary complaint about its airing of past "American Top 40" shows.
Until recently, that is.
Recent past 70's AT40 shows, however, have been edited--make that BUTCHERED--so badly, that I now have renamed the XM 70's feature BT40. As in "Butchered-American Top 40."

2. After Casey backsold the extra, "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me," (Temptations-Supremes hit), Casey's tease about Cheryl Lynn making it to the top 40 via "The Gong Show" is edited out along with two jingles.
3. Following Casey's outtro to #36, "Got To Be Real," his saying "35 hits to #1 and we're counting down" was edited out along with the next 2 jingles.
4. After Casey's outro to #34, "Take Me To The River," Casey's tease regarding Kenny Rogers not listening to songs until he's in the studio....was edited out along the jingle that ended that show segment.
5. After Casey 's outro to #32, "The Gambler" (Kenny Rogers), Casey's "31 hits to #1 and we're counting 'em down" was edited out along with the next 2 jingles.
