I want to ask this question to those who have followed "American Top 40" for a long time. I heard Casey Kasem mention WLCY in Tampa during the Top 40 Acts of the '70s ... So Far special. How many actually keep track of all the affiliate mentions on AT40 (as well as any affiliated programs)? How many times were Florida affiliates mentioned and what were those affiliates?
P.S.: I'm sure Pete Battistini's book may have this but I do not have a copy and I can't pay for a copy at this time.

I see that one. I contacted the guy who runs the web site after hearing a WPGC mention on the 11/6/1982 show (it was not included then).

Pete's book lists all the affiliate mentions-He did a heckuva job compiling all that information.

If I had more than 10 seconds to do this, I'd list 'em all, but we're understaffed and busy as all get out at the library, so I can just give you Tampa. Straight from Pete's book: Tampa: WILZ - 8/4/73 (new), 11/24/73 WLCY - 1/19/74 (new), 5/11/74, 5/18/74, 7/6/74, 2/8/75, 12/13/75, 9/4/76 WYNF - 7/30/77, 5/13/78, 11/11/78, 6/30/79, 12/8/79

Ever since AT40 started airing on XM(I got XM in January of 2006), I have been keeping track of affilate mentions and welcomes for AT40(mostly the 80's/Casey's Top 40 and other shows. I checked out Pete's at40 book via Interlibrary Loan a while back from my local library and even made a copy of the affilate mentions list so that I could have that for reference.
