According to Monday's edition of USA Today,singer/songwriter/producer Delaney Bramlett died on Saturday in Los Angeles after complications from gallbladder surgery-He co-wrote the song "Superstar",which was a #2 hit in the fall of 1971 for the Carpenters-Along with his former wife Bonnie,they had a pair of top 20 hits in 1971 "Never Ending Song Of Love" & "Only You Know & I Know".
