It was just announced by CBS Radio and Clearchannel that two CBS Radio stations and AT40 affiliates, WQSR-FM in Baltimore (80s) and KLTH-FM in Portland (70s) will be sold to Clearchannel. My concern is as to whether or not Clearchannel will maintain today's good quality of webstream on those 2 stations. From FMQB of December 15, 2008: www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=1054567 "CBS Radio and Clear Channel have announced a deal to swap five CBS stations in mid-sized markets for two CC major market stations. " "In the trade, Clear Channel will obtain CBS Radio's CHR/Top 40 KBKS/Seattle, Adult Hits WQSR/Baltimore, Rhythmic KXJM & Classic Hits KLTH/Portland, OR and Adult Hits KQJK/Sacramento. In return, CBS will acquire two CC stations in Houston: Latin Pop KLOL (Mega 101.1) and Hot AC KHMX (Mix 96.5)."
