On this week's AT10, after Foreigner's "Waiting For a Girl Like You", Mike Kasem outroed "that was a number one song on Radio & Records' pop chart in 1981." Usually Casey and his substitute hosts just say that was a number one song on the pop chart or whatsoever and never mentioned R&R. I know on AT10 and AT20, when they mention past songs' chart peak position, it is R&R's peak position, not Billboard's which original AT40 used, even though they didn't clearly mention that. A lot of old listeners know Foreigner's "Waiting For a Girl Like You" never hit #1 on AT40 (and on Billboard), peaked at #2 for 10 consecutive weeks in 1981/82. So it was reasonable to say it was a #1 hit on R&R.

I heard Mike Kasem host "AT10" over the weekend-I found it interesting that he mentioned "Radio & Records"after playing the Foreigner song.
