Thought I'd start this thread about anything that might be happening with stations as far as time changes, new additions, etc.
First thing I'd like to post is about what first looked like a new station carrying AT40 70s. The linking site RADIOTIME recently had a new listing for CISL in Vancouver. They are a classic hits formatted station and they do stream online. But when I linked at the time they had scheduled...no Casey. I don't even see anything promoting the show on their website. I sent a note to RADIOTIME to have them recheck and also inquired to CISL if they are, in fact, picking up the show. We'll see!

Updating my earlier post; Gerry O'Day, Program Director for CISL Vancouver informed me that his station did run AT40-70s up to this past August but did not renew it.

Yesterday, 101.9 Lite FM moved AT40--The 70s to 8 PM, whereas it was previously 8 AM. I personally didn't like this, as it now airs at the same time as another Baltimore station (102.7--Jack FM)'s broadcast of AT40--The 80s, forcing me to either choose one or keep jabbing buttons or turning the dial to switch back and forth between decades. (Though the Sunday morning time slot wasn't great for me either, as it's the same time as the local Top 40 station's broadcast of Ryan Seacrest's current hits countdown.) UPDATE: 101.9 Lite returned AT40--the 70s to 8 AM this week; I guess they had a one-off special broadcast going last week.

According to this post at radio-info.com, AT40 70s is back on the radio in the San Francisco Bay Area (at least for now) ... on KYCY, AM 1550, at noon Sundays. The speculation is that this is how KFRC is fulfilling their contract after flipping to all-news. www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php?topic=113395.0

Not sure if anyone else knew about this...I just discovered that WODS Boston has AT40-the 70s in on-demand audio and downloadable podcasts. The '72 show from last week is currently available.

I just stumbled upon that as well - that is so very cool of them to do this! Sort of like what Rick Dees website does - offers audios of old shows - I wonder how WODS can do all of this legally? Plus, they have audio of Beatles Brunch and Elvis only.

WODS' podcasts are in mono, with network commercials, but with all three AT 40 extras. How cool is that?
