I overheard this on CNN. I think he was 65. How did he end up dying?

Wow!-That's quite a shock-Most people will remember Isaac as the voice of Chef on the animated series "South Park"-He was more than that character-He was a prolific singer/songwriter-The "Shaft" theme will be his greatest claim to fame-Classic R&B to be sure!

In the mid 90's,Isaac was the morning guy on WRKS (Kiss 98.7) in New York City-Never had a chance to listen to him,but I'm sure he was great on the air.

I remember hearing him as a voiceover on Nick At Nite sometime in the 90s. Or at least someone who sounded a lot like him.

According to an article in today's edition of the NY Daily News,Hayes had suffered a stroke a while back-That might have been a contributing factor to his death.
