Tomorrow (8/4),the Billboard "Hot 100" celebrates its 50th birthday-Hard to believe this chart has hosted several genres of music such as pop, rock,r&b,rap,& hip hop-The very first song to top the "Hot 100" was "Poor Little Fool" by Ricky Nelson-Here's to another fifty years.

Is the weekly Hot 100 chart or Top 40 Singles chart available on line or in a searchable database other than in printed books? I'm wondering how other members in this board find certain songs from old charts.

Billboard.com has most of the old charts on their website-However,you only get to see a partial listing-You have to sign up as a member to get complete access to the vintage charts.
