I just bought a new computer about a month ago now, and now am able to "listen" to American Top 40 the 70's and American Top 40 the 80's over internet stations.
At the end, Ed McMann gives special thanks to Matt Wilson, Rob Durkee, and Pete Battistini. I just had a question about this. Is this just a shout out to them, or do they contribute something to the show? Like did Shannon maybe use some of their originals to digitize?
Just wondering.

I'm thinking Shannon Lynn receives copies of "AT40" shows from those gentlemen to digitize-Premiere simply wants to acknowledge their contributions.

Rob and Pete are historians of AT40 and, as a PhD student in History myself, I can see that they all do loads of research for the show. They definitely deserve the recognition they get and probably much more. The books Rob and Pete have written are strong testimonials to this.
