Does anyone have a good (and easy) method of combining MP3 tracks into a single track? Ie, when I have a segment of AT40 that is divided by songs (and not on CD but on a hard drive), how do I make those individual songs into a single segment for listening on my Ipod? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Scott: The program that I use to join segments is called MP3 Splitter Joiner Pro and can be downloaded at: www.mp3splitterjoiner.com/Works fast. I use it to rejoin a cut show into a single MP3 to play on my MP3 player. Costs $19.95 which really isn't too bad. Also works to split audio into equal parts.

Or if you want something free, try Audacity. It's a bit tedious but you basically open the audio files involved, and do a copy and paste from one file to the other. For the version I downloaded a couple of years ago, the source file automatically pastes at the front end of the destination file. That may have changed with the newest version. audacity.sourceforge.net/

I tried the "try it before you buy it" version of mp3spitterjoiner, and it left a slight gap in the middle of the two tracks. Anyone know of a joiner that avoids this?
