Hello:
I did know if a complete collection of the Billboard Hot 100 from 1955-1979 exists or not.
Even if it was a complete TOP 40, that would be fine. Does anyone out there have a (near)complete collection of this kind, or can recommend someone?
Thanks

I recently received a circular from Joel Whitburn's "Record Research"-They are selling a DVD of all the "Hot 100" charts from January 1960-December 1969-You just pop the disc into your computer & you'll see the charts in both black & white & color-Hope this helps.

Joel Whitburn has books that contain the Billboard Hot 100 charts by decade (60s 70s 80s and 90s) He also has a book called Billboard Pop Charts 1955-59 which contains all the pop charts that were published between 1955 and 59. These books are rather expensive ($79.95 each except the 50s book which is $59.95), but if you're an avid music chart fan, it's worth it. They do have the 60s charts on DVD coming out soon and its only $39.95. The web site is www.recordresearch.com.
