Well, I didn't like it at first also and maybe I'm still not very happy about it but I can get used to it, especially if now Casey almost always gives you also the chart position and movement of the song what was heard "before that".
What I wonder is what will happen when the song debuts at number 19, 'cause this will be a new song to the countdown so it may sound a bit strange without Casey's intro... but luckily there hasn't been such one yet. Let's see.
And... I like Casey sounding of today, e.g. mentioning what's the number one on the Digital Download chart that makes him cool in my opinion even after almost 40 years of countin'em down even though I grew up with him.
As long as he's around I'm still happy. So don't forget to KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND.

After hearing more the show for a couple of weeks in a row, I have to agree with robert on this one.

I agree, there was not much of the "flow" at first, but last few weeks the mixing did become better. And so has the "flow". Although, I still think that they could do a better job with an "AT20 Extra" jingle, as you can hear that it is mixed from different voice segments. It's probably not that expensive to get Casey to read the whole jingle as one, which would bring even more "flow" to the show with NoNuttin'

Agreed - I am starting to get used to the new "flow" of AT20. Can't say I love it, but I'm getting used to it and the fact that I still get to tune into AT20 with Casey every weekend is good enough for me.
The *only* thing I would do would be to have Casey intro the #19 song, and then have the extra sweeper air between #19 and the first non countdown song in that first segment. Countdown song #19 is the only one that does not get an intro, and that would be an easy fix.

The funny thing to me still is that no song seems to debut at #19 on the USA Today HotAC Airplay chart for the next two weeks.

A "new" No Nuttin' was added this week. In the final segment of the show, the bumper jingle plays and is then immediately followed by the "Number Two" jingle, and then countdown song # 2.

It'll be interesting to see if that continues. That almost sounds like a situation where they couldn't use Casey's voicetrack introing number two for whatever reason (perhaps a factual error and an edit couldn't be made).

After listening for two weeks I would like to add my opinion on this. I don't mind the not introducing songs part, to me thats no big deal since the title, artist, and all is given at the songs conclusion. However, the actual segue they air before those extras is horrible. It sounds like someone who was learning how to produce a jingle put it together just to get the hang of melding different bits and pieces together.

This weekends AT20 (7/26, 7/27), Casey does talk between songs #20 and #19. The 'no nuttin' was moved to the #19 and the extra. The 'no nuttin' still occurs before the #2 song.

So I guess we won't be wondering what'll happen when that magical #19 debut finally happens, as they'll just move the "no nuttin'" around. Looks like there won't be a #19 debut in 2 weeks, as only Buckcherry is set to go recurrent, which will push "Bottle It Up" likely to #20. But with all the songs about to go recurrent, we're bound to have a #19 debut soon enough. I think either O.A.R. or Daughtry will do it in 3 weeks, as I expect The Spill Canvas and Duffy to be out then.

"Sorry" is STILL my favorite song on the chart right now....I love the emotion of it.

I'm just listening to this week's edition of AT20 after two-week break due to my vacation and so I heard for the first time Casey introing the song #19 again... I say it sounds much more natural and the extra jingle after that doesn't bother me the way no nuttin' for the countdown song #19 had done before.

Well, the second hour today started with no nuttin' the #13 song by Sara Bareilles. Is that the first time happening?
