As I mentioned in another thread, back in the summer of 1989 Shadoe goofed while mentioning a bit of chart trivia. My brother and I caught the mistake and wrote a letter to the show, and got a personal response from Rob Durkee (which I still have somewhere). The mistake was as follows:
On the 7/1/89 show, two of the Top 40 debuts are inside the Top 30. Shadoe said that this hadn't happened in over 5 years. Not true. It happened a mere month-and-a-half earlier in on 5/20/89! It always puzzled me how nobody realized that. However, our correction was never mentioned on the show.
