I thought we had a conversation about this a couple of years ago here but I can't find it.
Anyway - there was The Show Must Go On and Sideshow and Tightrope - and Palisades Park and Goodbye Cruel World back in the early 1960s - all sampling Entrance of the Gladiators by the dangerously named Julius Fucik. If I'm leaving one out I can't remember it right now. Oh Wikipedia lists Yakety Sax by Boots Randolph. Good call, Wikipedia!
And yesterday I heard another one. Hint - it's a song we only hear this time of year and it isn't played much, which is probably something to be thankful for.
So - what song am I talking about???

Without cheating, I'll guess "Alice's Restaurant".

It's not Arlo or Marge. Here is Hint #2. The song also samples Pop Goes The Weasel. Yes, it's pretty bad.
