I remember there being a song titled "Nu Nu" by Lidell Townsell that was on the top 40 during the summer of 1992 (in fact, during the changeover to the new music package). But apparently it must have been a different version that I am having a hard time finding on YouTube. That version I heard on AT40 had a certain note sequence that I remember from "Got a Love for You" by Jomanda (one of the few songs that notoriously spent just one week on AT40 and peaked at #40). Could somebody please inform me what version of "Nu Nu" was heard on AT40?

The radio version I have heard on WBBM B-96 Chicago back at the 1992 time (when the station was carrying Casey's Top 40, the station would drop it a year later) is the same one I heard on AT40. It made #20 on the Billboard Radio Monitor used for Shadoe AT40 at the time but failed to make the R&R CHR/Pop chart used for Casey's Top 40 and Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.

The same thing is the case with Linear's "T.L.C.", which has just two postings of the video - which I'm guessing is the album version, which has a saxophone heard in it that isn't in what AT40 played (which I'm guessing was the single version). All other postings of the song (of which there are admittedly few) are club remixes.

And if "Nu Nu" made the R&R CHR chart that Casey's Top 40 and Rick Dees used, how would it have fared/compared to the #20 Billboard Radio Monitor/Shadoe AT40 peak? I would guess #36.

And look at what I found just now. A version with a saxophone solo involved: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvvwPgmW_SII am thinking the version heard on AT40 was a truncated version, as this version on YT starts off with the words "The password is play" - was that a callback to the then-recently cancelled game show Super Password, by chance?
