If Bob Eubanks were to pass away someday, and Premiere was to offer only one of his two guest-hosted shows as a tribute, which show would you prefer?
January 9, 1982? or April 16, 1983?
Poll closes at 11:30 PM on December 31, 2019.

It would probably be the show from 1/9/82-By the way,I was fortunate to see Bob Eubanks being interviewed at the NY Fest For Beatle Fans in March 2015-He had some great stories to tell-One of them was the fact that his station in Los Angeles,KRLA,brought The Beatles to the Hollywood Bowl in 1964 & 1965-He also talked about how he landed his hosting job on "The Newlywed Game"-Very interesting person to say the least.

Myself, I voted for April 16, 1983 - more because the music was far better than what the 1982 show had to offer. Plus, I hate "Here I Am" by Air Supply.

For me it comes down to hearing Bob get to countdown "Steal The Night" by Stevie Woods or the "Hungarian Suicide Song" story. I'll take Bob getting to play Stevie!

I remember listening to 1 of his shows...I think he was the DJ that said "Im was steering the bus for Casey Kasem this week " & "navigating the ship for Casey Kasem this week" .....1982 show I think

4/16/83, but not by a lot. I like the music better from April 1983 than January 1982.

Make 1/9/1982 as the A show and 4/16/1983 as the B show - since AT40: The 80's uses 1980-1982 and 1986-1988 as A shows with B show options.

April 16, 1983 is the better show because the music was much better than 1982. In fact, 1983 was probably one of the better years in the decade. Period.

Not so much interested in the songs but more in the chart history. "Physical" would be spending it 8th week at #1 and "Billie Jean" its 7th and final week---both impressive achievements.
