^Thanks for the lists giannirubino and johnnywest...now here would be an interesting exercise: what's everybody's vote for which songs with the same title sound the most different? (i.e. the two different versions of "If" could not be further apart as far as sound, feel, meaning, etc., also Metallica's "One" versus the Bee Gees' "One") Just curious what everyone would say...

"Wild, Wild West," Escape Club (1988) "Wild Wild West," Will Smith featuring Dru Hill & Kool Moe Dee (1999) Will Smith's version of "Wild Wild West" was actually a remake of Kool Moe Dee's song that charted on the Hot 100 around May 1988. Not surprisingly, the two versions sounded fairly similar.

"Crazy" by Icehouse in 1988, The Boys in 1990, Seal in 1991, Aerosmith in 1994, and Dream in 2003.
K-Ci and JoJo also had a song called "Crazy" in 2001 - did that version make it to AT40?

How about a contrast between "played only once on AT40" and "played ten times as the #1 song"?...
"You Light Up My Life" by Carole King in 1973 and by Debby Boone in 1977!
(The former was part of a two-sided hit with "Believe In Humanity", a #28 peaker which was on the charts from August 11th through September 8th, 1973, and on September 1st, the flip side was featured...)
