Sly and the Family Stone trumpeter/vocalist Cynthia Robinson passed away November 23. The first female trumpeter inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cynthia continued working with Sly after the band's breakup. She also worked with Larry Graham's Graham Central Station, and was a part of the Family Stone reunion in 2006. If I could hear the horns blow Cynthia on the throne, yeah! Cynthia and Jerry got a message that's sayin' All the squares, go home! Dance To The Music - Sly and the Family StoneObituary
