I notice different stations on iheart have different sound quality. It seems like the larger market stations will often have better sound, as do the generic stations (My 80s, Cool Oldies, etc) Another reason I choose WODC or WMJI for the 70s show and WQSR for the 80s, they have the top tier sound. Brett--does WMJI play the optional extras? Last I knew they did not, but I agree that they're sound is very good. FYI--KOKZ appears to have upgraded their stream. They used to sound a little too compressed, but they sound terrific now... One time I heard them play an extra, but they do not.

Countdownmike has something special planned on WODC next weekend. He hinted it at the end of yesterday's show. This is what I asked him: Hi Mike, I heard your hint of something special next weekend. Are you going to give us anxious die hard fans on these threads the insight before you post on your website?? This is what he replied: I was wondering if anyone was going to ask about that hint. I did it only at the end of the show so I know for sure you're a true AT40 fan! Yes, I hope to have this week's page completed by Wednesday evening to give the whole rundown of events for the weekend, which does involve AT40!

I am two holidays late, but thanks Brett for checking out my 10A-3PM Saturday show, where the AT40 promotion machine is in high gear! Well, here is the scoop for the Labor Day Weekend!
SUNDAY: 09:00AM - 12:NOON+ - September 3, 1977 07:00PM - 11:00PM+ - The #1 Hits Of The 1970s, Part 6 (August 1978 - December 1979)
MONDAY: 08:00AM - 12:NOON+ - The Triathlon Of Rock And Roll (From 1988) 12:NOON - 04:00PM+ - The Top Acts Of The 1980s, So Far (From 1983) 07:00PM - 11:00PM+ - ENCORE: The #1 Hits Of The 1970s, Part 6 (August 1978 - December 1979)
The #1 1970s show is so nice you have to do it twice! That's the deal! It's the last holiday before THE holidays so there won't be a chance to do something like this again until next May! Enjoy!

Hey, you could run all the AT10 Christmas shows in a continuous loop the 24th and 25th of December. Not really suggesting it but that's how it could be done if you REALLY wanted another marathon.

Lots of AT40 to listen to this weekend! I'm sure I speak for others when I say great thanks to Mike Eiland and Ken Martin for preserving the memory of Casey by, not only just playing the shows, but taking great care to make sure quality is high and errors are kept to a minimum (sometimes it happens beyond the control of both).

Thanks again, retroguy! Paul, that sounds like a great idea. I will keep that one in mind for sure for the holidays! Thank you SFGuy, and those Ken Martin specials are amazing, the reason his Part 6 is running twice. Great listener response to the previous ones. Having a cookout Sunday and the radio will be on this special for all to hear!

darnall42, you just made me think about those 80s Ken Martin specials. I'm 99 percent certain (because they are in the BONUS category) that Premiere will make those available to 70s affiliates, considering the recent nice surprises this year getting "The Giants Of Rock," "The Triathlon Of Rock And Roll," and "The Top Acts Of The 1980s, So Far." Great charts for those 80s shows!
