For those of you that want to catch 1972 because Premiere hasn't aired it yet, you've got a few hours before it starts. I predict the Top 80 of 1972 won't air on AT40: The 70's via Premiere until the New Year's weekend of 2019 and the first weekend of 2020.

Did you know that if you have ad blocker software that the comments section on the iHeart Radio/Casey Kasem page is blocked? I just found out why I haven't been able to view the posted schedules as everyone else... today, I am using a computer which doesn't have ad blocker, and voila, the schedules and other comments can be seen. Speaking of the comments on that page... wow, Giovanni Tomaro is not one to hold back on explaining his displeasure for the iHeart Radio/Casey Kasem channel... especially his dislike for the year-end countdowns! Plus, I am spending this weekend about 20 miles from his home in Brecksville, Ohio... I hope I don't bump into him at Target, Lowe's or South Park Mall this weekend ! Yeah, I discovered that about four years ago. I don't know why he does it. It's not fun to be around someone that complains all the time. He reminds me of someone else you also know... doesn't he?

I was going to say that was weird because I use two ad-blockers and was able to see the comments yesterday and Thursday just fine with both of them on, but I went there just now and couldn't see them at all until I turned one of them off.

Very early in the 1983 year-end now. 1985 is about 12-13 hours away, JMW.

Currently at #45 in the 1984 top 100. Sure sounds weird going right into a split-logo jingle after a song outro. This show has several teasers cut out. Par for the course in 2007, when this show first aired in the series.
Also, for those of you looking to catch 1986, as Premiere has yet to air the first half in the series, it'll start this afternoon, guessing around 2:00 CDT.

Is it true the iHeart Classic AT40 channel now does AT40 70's/80's shows random or a few times the same decade in a row? As I am listening 9/3/1983 was completed (a 1980's AT40 show) and now 8/4/1984 (also a 1980's AT40 show) is playing on the iHeart Classic At40 channel! It appears someone has decided to shift the programming to play more 80's shows. Instead of always alternating between the two decades, they are occasionally playing three 80's shows in a row. It's disappointing if you prefer to listen to the 70's shows. I've noticed some of the listeners are really starting to complain about it on the Iheart chat board. Given how many channels iHeart has, why don't they just have 2 separate ones -- an all-'80s AT40 and an all-'70s AT40 channel?

According to the list posted for today's shows, they'll be airing 5/7/1988 followed by the show from two weeks later. Where is this list?

Heard something weird on the 5-7-77 show. At the end of Leo Sayer at #2, Casey appeared to come in briefly with the outro, then Leo continued for about 5-10 seconds, then the out to started again. Glitch or mistake on the original show?

Glitch or mistake on the original show? It was a glitch. I listened to my copy of the original show, and it sounded fine.

I've heard strange happenings like that on the channel before. Not sure if it's local or a hiccup in the stream.
