Besides a possible Classic AT40 Channel split up of Classic AT40 1970's and Classic AT40 1980's, is it time for a show rotation purge with new show additions and droppings?

Besides a possible Classic AT40 Channel split up of Classic AT40 1970's and Classic AT40 1980's, is it time for a show rotation purge with new show additions and droppings? As far as IHeart splitting up 70's and 80's into separate channels, I don't think it's going to happen given that IHeart has filed for bankruptcy. I would like to see them air two 80's shows and then one 70's show in it's rotation instead of the 3 to 1 combo that they doing now. It may not be ideal, but it would be better.

Just started playing the Top 80 of 1970 at 12:00am on July 3rd. Will probably play all the year end shows the next 4 days.

I wonder if the Classic AT40 iHeartRadio channel will do a purge of AT40 shows with new additions after 2019 begins.
But will it be Christmas Eve through New Years Day the Classic AT40 channel will do the AT40 year end countdowns 1970 to 1988?

Right now they are playing the four-hour version of the 3/17/1979 show, though they skipped over the first LDD (after song #36) and the first archive song.
ETA: Going by the comments on the iHeartRadio station link, this is the first time they have played the entirety of a four-hour 70s show though it looks like it'll come at a "price".
ETA Part 2: Not only did they skip over the second archive, they also moved the last song in the second hour (Music Box Dancer at #23) so it was the first song in the third hour.

SCREW UP ALERT! During the top 100 of 1982 playing currently on the Classic AT40 channel the start of the second hour is repeating again after the show got to "Just Once" somewhere in the 80's position range!

The only benefit to this is the chance to hear Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny) twice on the radio about 20 minutes apart.

The top 100 of 1987 is now on the iHeartRadio Classic AT40 channel ending the AT40 year enders in order, what could be next? Start over with 1970 and continue year by year until the end of New Year's Day (January 1, 2019)?

...what could be next? Start over with 1970 and continue year by year until the end of New Year's Day (January 1, 2019)? Your wish did not come true yet. Early Saturday, they were playing the Top 40 Acts of the 80s So Far. Casey teased what the #1 act was, and then the channel started playing the Top 50 Hits of the 70s. After playing #50 - #47, they skipped ahead to #29 and are now on "Reunited" by Peaches & Herb at #25.

They make the exact same mess of the Top 50 of the 1970’s every single time they play it in these end of year countdowns.... Grrrr.
After the Top 50 of the 1970’s they usually play the Top 40 Disco Hits special, then the Top 40 Artists of the 70’s Special (from July 1st 1978), then reapeat all the year end countdowns again.
