Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" seemed to be the first hip rock holiday song at the time. Bruce was hot on the charts. I was in album-rock radio and it was the most popular, called-after song on our playlist in December 1984. It really painted the "Rock 'N' Roll Christmas" theme we were trying to create.

Bruce's version of Merry Christmas Baby is great. I like Madonna's version of Santa Baby as well.
Feliz Navidad is easily the worst and most annoying Christmas song if all time followed by The Christmas Shoe (I think that's the title). Good God that song is awful and depressing as hell.
