Now that we are deep into the Fall season, are there any songs that make you think of the Fall season? I can think of a few:
Little Lies--Fleetwood Mac Angelia--Richard Marx Here's Where The Story Ends--The Sundays Yellow--Coldplay Castles In The Air--Don McLean The Mummers' Dance--Lorenna McKennitt Dance With Me--Orleans More Than I Can Say--Leo Sayer Holiday--The Other Ones Tunnel Of Love--Bruce Springsteen

SONGS THAT MAKE ME THINK OF FALL--PART 1
Autumn is my favorite time of year, so here goes:
1955 Autumn Leaves-Roger Williams (the cascading piano) 1956 Canadian Sunset-Heywood/Winterhalter 1957 Chances Are-Johnny Mathis 1958 Tom Dooley-Kingston Trio 1959 Mack the Knife-Bobby Darin 1960 Georgia On My Mind-Ray Charles 1961 Take Five-David Brubeck 1962 The Lonely Bull-Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass (reminds me of a windy day in mid-autumn) 1963 Busted-Ray Charles (a back-to-reality sort of song) 1964 Oh Pretty Woman-Roy Orbison (Romantic relationships often begin during the fall season) 1965 Liar, Liar-Castaways (ominous, autumnal feel) 1966 If I Were a Carpenter-Bobby Darin 1967 To Sir, with Love-Lulu (lyrics were about school; melodically foreboding) 1968 Love Child-Diana Ross & the Supremes (reminds me of a storm) 1969 Is That All There Is-Peggy Lee (This always reminded me of leaves falling from the trees) 1970 Fire and Rain-James Taylor 1971 Imagine-John Lennon 1972 Use Me-Bill Withers (Percussive feel makes me think of fall weather.) 1973 Keep On Truckin'-Eddie Kendricks 1974 Tin Man-America (reminds me of refreshing fall weather0
More to come...
