This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from Fiona Apple. This was the first release from her 1999 album, and it was debuting on the 12/11/99 Adult Top 40 chart at #36 on its way to a #29 peak. The full name of her 1999 album? "When the Pawn Hits The Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might so When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right". Not surprisingly, the album did not make the Billboard 200 . Try saying that title as fast as you can as you listen to her song, "Fast As You Can":

Correction: "When the Pawn..." peaked at #13 on the Billboard 200. When i sourced UMD Music's site last night, it only pulled up her first album. Today, the site pulled up four of her albums which charted... not sure what happened. It's nice to know someone is fact-checking me. Please don't say that my first posting was "fake news" .

Because it's the Christmas season and you all have been good , I have two Lost 90s Classics this week. Both songs are from Top 10 albums on the 12/26/92 Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. The first is from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. This is the first track featured on the "A Very Special Christmas 2" album which was holding at #7 on that chart. Here are Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with "Christmas All Over Again": My second pick is from Amy Grant who had the #2 album that week with "Home For Christmas". So I'm reviewing the Hot 100 from 1/19/91 seeing if I want to feature any songs as This Week's Lost 90s Classic, and I see a song moving up 12 notches to #64 called "Ponderous" by 2NU. I think to myself, "I don't know if I remember this one" so I pull a version up on YouTube. I hear a few notes form the song and think, "I kind of remember this", and as soon as the singer says, "... and my shoes started to squeak..." and the squeaking noise is heard, I think to myself, "Oh yeah, now I remember this one." And then I say to myself, "OH MY GOD! 'Ponderous'... Casey Kasem... how have I not featured this tune on a Casey Kasem tribute board yet?!?!" So here is This Week's Lost 90s Classic from 2NU, a song which would peak at #46 called "Ponderous":
