I think the Godfather of all of these would be 1999 by Prince. On a sidetone, in Canada there was an act by the name of M+M (Martha & The Muffins) that had a song called Black Stations White Stations which has 1984 in the chorus.
Esccape Club's hit Wild Wild West had a reference to living in the 80s and heading towards the 90s in the lyrics.
Recently Ann-Marie had a song called 2002.
After '91, with the emergence of HipHop and the Billboard chart formal and scoundscan being brought online, dropping current years in tracks became the thing.

There's a song that's not yet on AT40 but could be in a few weeks titled "Popstar" by DJ Khaled f/Drake and they mention 2020. Also, Avenue Beat is moving up the Mediabase chart with "F--- 2020."

Montell Jordan's 1995 hit "This Is How We Do It" mentions the years 1964 and 1994 in abbreviated form. It was recorded in 1994, but released early in 1995.

Peaked at #64 in early 1980 but recorded in 1979, on Styx's "Borrowed Time" Dennis DeYoung declares "Don't look now, but here comes the 80s!"

Did Casey ever play the version of Blondie's "Call Me" with the third verse including "Dress me in the fashions of the 1980'S?"

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one. "Sorry 2004" by Ruben Studdard. It mentions the year in the title and lyrics and that's the year in which it was released.

Bringing this literally up to date, there was a "Breakout" on AT40 last week that should soon be charting called "F2020" by Avenue Beat. (The F in the title and lyrics is short for a word that rhymes with "duck".)

^They also mention 2021 in that song.

I’m surprised no one mentioned Freedom 90 by George Michael.

I’m surprised no one mentioned Freedom 90 by George Michael. In terms of official title, yes, though the date isn't included in the song. The 90 was added simply to avoid confusion with George's previous Wham!-era hit "Freedom".

^The "90" made me think that it was a remake of the Wham! song.

In “Will 2k,” Will Smith raps, “Now it’s 9-9, 10 years behind me,” and later, “2-0-0-0, the Will 2k.”
