Great job! Do you have a cue sheet for it? I like to copy them into the "lyrics" tab in itunes for reference. Thanks!! Look forward to the others!!

I listened to this show and noticed that a couple of songs were not the original versions: Chick A Boom by Daddy Dewdrop Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson.
It was interesting but I would have preferred to hear all the information about an artist or song before you played the song. Sometimes it was difficult to tell where the information about a certain song ended and when the nextone began.

I think the version of "Pop Muzik" was different from the original, as well. Also, some of the introductions could have been presented better. For example, when "Stumblin' In" was introduced, you mentioned Chris Norman by name before the song began, but didn't mention Suzi Quatro by name until after it ended (just a tease about her claim to fame as Leather Tuscadero). And I think it was during the introduction for "Rock On" that you mentioned how many hits David Essex had in his native country, but you didn't mention what the native country was until after the song ended. Other than those nitpicks, a fun special. Look forward to hearing the others.

I was positive they were original versions but occasionally those pesky re-records sneak in. I'll have a look later on. I believe that Pop Muzik was off the 45 so that could be why it sounded different.
I tried to do pre hit info before the record and "since then" info afterwards. Though I occasionally switched things up to make it less monotonous. Just like with how I intro & outro the songs. Switch up what order and how I say position, artist, song & year it was a hit.

I did go back and check and the version of Pop Muzik by M featured on the program was indeed not the original version. I believe it is a dance version from the late 1980's (1989). I did re-listen to some of the show and just for some future shows you may want to say something like "and now for the next song on the countdown" or "at number __ we have an artist"; so it is easier to tell when one bit of information ends and the next one begins. Overall a very interesting show.

Yeah, I checked. Must've been off a 45 from a remix. I'm going to fix that for sure!
I hate the remakes so usually I don't have them but guess they slipped in.
I am not sure the confusion of one to the next. I always finish a story, pause, and say up next or now we're up to or whatever. I'm kinda confused because there's confusion.

Hey don't be so hard on yourself--it isn't like you are making any money off of this thing. As you might guess from my user name I was a dj from age 18-33 (quit doing it as my 'real job' about 20 years ago) but I still do it as a hobby for family and friends. I try to make sure my 'shows' are as good as I possibly can get them but still catch errors I make but nearly no one I gave a copy of the shows noticed so I rarely go back and correct the 'mistakes'. Remember the most important thing as robin Scott (M) said it's just pop music and it's meant for enjoyment--nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, but I want to get this on a real station and I'm very perfectionistic so there's that... Lol
