Would Fleetwood Mac fall into this category .Mick Fleetwood as drummer.John McVie as bass player.
Stevie Nicks as lead singer,Lindsey Buckingham on Guitar and lead and now returning Christine McVie on Keyboards and lead.
I love these guys. They and stevie is my all time favorites .
Great hearing Casey counting down their tunes along with the solo work over the years.

Kool and the Gang (Robert "Kool" Bell was a bassist; they had their biggest success with James Taylor on lead, although Bell contributed vocals on their pre-JT funk hits when they didn't really have a lead singer)

Santana? Carlos doesn't sing . Occasionally he does (I think he may have helped sing "Evil Ways" and he sang "Everything's Coming Our Way" which gets some Classic Rock play). Another one is Edgar Winter Group. Edgar sang sometimes but I believe Dan Hartman sang "Free Ride" and "River's Rising," two of their three top 40 hits (the other was the instrumental "Frankenstein").

Paul Carrack ALSO sang lead in the Mechanics. 'Silent running' and, 'The living years', were his leads.
