Second appearance on the show and another outstanding one !
It seems it needed a second Charlie to finally reach the old quality of Guesthosts on the programme.
Compare this talent with Ed McMann ....... ( and yes Paul: David Perry too !!! )
Many other guesthosts were talented people at Casey's mike as well, but none of them like the two Charlie's ....... no question for me !

Completely agree...though I'd have to add Mark Elliot to that list with the two Charlies. I'd always thought Charlie Tuna would be a great fill-in for Casey...I'm glad Premiere finally thought so, too. I can't think of higher praise for Charlie Tuna than to say that I actually didn't mind him reading my LDD a couple weeks ago. Of course, it's not the same as Casey reading it, but I didn't MIND having Charlie do it. Now, if David Perry had read it, I'd be fuming...  |

Now, if David Perry had read it, I'd be fuming... But he'd probably say "I'm Casey Kasem", so it would be just like Casey had read it.  |
