Earlier this year, there was a thread featuring shows in which three or more debuts which would eventually go to #1. On this past weekend's 70s show, 10/12/74, three of the eight songs which fell out of the Top 40 were former #1 songs: "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Babe" by Barry White, "I Shot The Sheriff" by Eric Clapton, and "You're Having My Baby" by Paul Anka. Another show which had three #1s drop out was 10/30/82: "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" by Chicago, "Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor, and "Abracadabra" by Steve Miller took huge plunges out of the Top 40 that week. Were there any other shows in which three or more #1 songs dropped out the same week?

80sat40fan, the reason I found the 10/7/89 "one song" debut show was because I was looking at the charts from around that time thinking there might have been a week in that part of 1989 that your scenario happened. I wasn't far off:
On September 9, 1989: "Toy Soldiers" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now" both fell out of the Top 40. "Batdance" held in the 40 on that week dropping from 25 to 37. That's the closest I have found so far.
