If it was edited on the original broadcast, then yes.
Edit: For anyone who may think otherwise, understand Shannon Lynn does not edit the shows for broadcast. Premiere is responsible for this. Shannon remasters the originals for them. Beyond that he has no control of what they air. Therefore if you purchase a show from him, it's the original. If there were edits on the original broadcast, they will be edited on the one you buy from him. If they were edited since, they won't be if you buy it. If I am mistaken on this, please correct me.

According to the original cue sheet, the segment with "Gimme Some Lovin'" and "Sailing" ran 7:39. According to Wikipedia, that cut off of the Blues Brothers soundtrack ran 3:06 and "Sailing" runs 4:14. If there were cuts on the original show, they likely would have been minimal, since Casey's intros and outros would have been over some of the music.

Also, on the cue sheets, anything underlined has some kind of longer story behind it (thus filling in more time).

Is that why? I always wondered.

Is that why? I always wondered. I did too for a while, but on the odd occasion I'd follow along with a show's cue sheet as it's playing, so eventually I noticed the match-up going on there.

I never did that. I always followed along with the Hot 100 when I finally got a weekly copy that matched and then later when I got those Whitburn DVD Roms. Is that why some songs are underlined on the Shadoe era cue sheets also? I'd presume so since the same network produced the show.

I have a Sirius recording of the show that I found a few years back, and that segment appears to be the same length as the original show's cue sheet indicates.
The more recent Premiere airings cut out the verse that begins "Fantasy - it gets the best of me..."

yep, that's where the edit is... that "fantasy " part is cut.
