In listening to this show Casey says listen for the Top 40 Acts of the 80s special next week during it. However, his ending credits say join me next week and again we'll count down the 40 biggest hits in the USA. I went to Shannon's site with all the cue sheets and there's no mention of a regular show that week. Was Casey's outro a screw up or was there a regular show as well?

I can't find any top 40 list for a regular 7/2/83 show at Old Radio Shows or anywhere else, so I guess it was a mistake. This came one year after Casey in June 1982 teased a top albums countdown that never aired.

There was no regular countdown for 7/2/83 - only the special. Must have been an oversight on the part of the editing staff.

Ok thanks. Actually listening to Acts of the 80s show now from the (I guess) time it aired from Premiere in 2011.
