Two One-Hit Wonders who had their only Top 40 hits twenty years apart have entered Rock And Roll Heaven. Richie Havens, the folk singer who opened the 1969 Woodstock concert with a three-hour performance, died today (4/22/13) of a heart attack in New Jersey. According to writer R.J. Cubarrubia of Rolling Stone, Havens was 72. He recorded at least a dozen LP's and performed at Bill Clinton's 1993 inauguration. The Divinyls were an Aussie band that formed in 1980.
