One labor of love is now complete as of last week. The complete 1971 library has now been remastered from the first generation Hollywood masters. As a result, several new uploads were also made to the www.charismusicgroup.com calendar page. These would be the original production logs, not cue sheets, used in the studio as the show was being recorded and assembled. Pete Battistini and I have been astounded with the discoveries. It has been shedding an entirely new light on many things! Shannon

I am very grateful that Shannon posted the production logs. Anyone else who would've accessed them likely would've tossed them aside as scrap. Like each show has its own personality, these logs give programs new stories. Here's an example -- I passed along this to Shannon earlier this week: >>>I finally had a chance to listen to a program while following the master tape production sheets that you posted. Just awesome! And it was no coincidence that I selected the 4-17-71 program to listen to -- the first show that I ever heard. A couple of noteworthy items. One deals with the Osmond Poster ads. On the production sheets, one of the ads is marked "Dayton" and the other is marked "Miller". Ah ha! From this info I was able to determine that the first was voiced by L.A. dj Bob Dayton and the second was the unmistakable voice of Humble Harve Miller. The other -- Bill Hergonson's note to program/tape duplicator Ron Hanley on page 6. It referenced his apology about a f***-up on the master tape. And I believe he was referring to a quick tape dropout in Casey's intro to the Jackson 5's #14 record. The flaw is on the show I obtained from you but apparently the engineer at Premiere managed to correct it for their broadcast. That is, unless you corrected it. Either way, the fix sounds great! www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-17-71.pdfGood stuff ... thanks again!<<<
