"Wild Thing" is one of the greatest songs of the rock era-It was also a top forty hit for Senator Bobby, who was actually impressionist Bill Minkin as Robert Kennedy-This particular version peaked at #20 in early 1967-A British group called Fancy took their version of "Wild Thing" to #14 in 1974.

There was another version of "Wild Thing" that was on the soundtrack of the 1986 movie "Something Wild" that starred Jeff Daniels & Melanie Griffith.

"Love is All Around" did rather well, too, being covered by Wet Wet Wet and R.E.M.

I did read somewhere that Reg Presley adopted his stage name from Elvis. He thought the lyrics to "Wild Thing" were the worst ever written and the Senator Bobby rendition seems to confirm this.
