I can't finish about typing one error when not AT40 has already committed another. Alan said JB hadn't had a top 40 in ten years. His actual last visit to the top 40 was in 1974.

I can't finish about typing one error when not AT40 has already committed another. Alan said JB hadn't had a top 40 in ten years. His actual last visit to the top 40 was in 1974. Amazingly, Hunter committed yet another error in the same outro to "Living in America." He said it was the 2nd time Rocky IV was represented in the countdown, but it actually was the 3rd as Robert Tepper and Survivor were also featured.

Then during that same talk break, Nina stated that "853-5937" was "not one of Squeeze's bigger hits", even though Squeeze only had two Top-40s in the U.S. (the other being "Hourglass"). Oh, so all of a sudden, a single that peaked at #49 ("Tempted") is bigger than a #32-peaking song? And so is a "Bubbling Under" peaker ("Black Coffee in Bed", #103)? Amazingly, in the same break there was a third Nina error. She called Billy Ocean's hit single, "Get out of my dreams, AND into my car."

Alan said it had been four years since the death of John Lennon. It was really just more than 3 years between his 12/80 murder and 1/84 entry of countdown Nobody Told Me.

Though Mark Goodman was more than likely saying it off the top of his head, the line from "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" in reference to "Yah Mo B There" is actually "I'm gonna 'yah mo' burn this place to the ground."

In her weekly content screw up Nina said Mirror x 2 was a big top two hit for Ross. Diana was peaking this week at #8.
Another example of Casey lite mixing up another chart with the Hot 100.

For some reason display for Daddy's Home showed 1981, even though it didn't chart on the Hot 100 until mid Jan 82.

^^In that case, it was the R&B chart that Mirror x 2 was a top-two hit on; It was at #2 behind Stevie Wonder's "That Girl" (#5 on the countdown).
And about "Daddy's Home" classification error: The display for "Harden My Heart" always shows (82), and even though that song peaked during '82, it entered the chart in mid-October of 81, so that song should have an (81) instead if they were going by chart-entry dates.

Alan Hunter just said that this was the last weekend of March when there's actually one more weekend to go. Can't really blame him though.

In their ever changing definition of a hit, Casey lite said Sweet Sensation's album produced 5. Only 4 tracks reached the Hot 100, two making the top 40. Then Mark only gives Chicago credit for three from their album even though 19 produced 4 top tenners and another Hot 100 entry.
