Mark said the lead vocals on Better Love Next Time were done by Ray 'Dr. Hook' Sawyer. The singer was really Dennis Locorriere.

The display beneath Mark's name reads "VJ Big 40 1989!" Also for Alan's, so I'm guessing they never got to change those displays to 1980. This was fixed for Saturday morning's airing.

In the quickest error ever Mark ended his regular show saying Not AT40 was from 'today, Jan 11, 1982'. They are using the 1/9/82 chart

During the intro for "Let's Groove", Nina must have confused Earth, Wind & Fire with Kool & the Gang, saying EW&F were from Jersey City, New Jersey while they were actually from Chicago, Illinois.

They are using the 1/9/82 chart Usually, when they announce the show before the initial airing, they use the Friday air date along with the featured year. Then, during the show itself, they reference the Billboard chart date.

In their ever changing definition of a hit, Mark said 1987s Wot's It To Ya' would be pretty much the chart conclusion for Robbie Nevil as a performer. He had several more Hot 100 entries, two of those entering the top 40.

At the beginning of last week's 1987 countdown, Alan stated that "Jacob's Ladder" was "just into the Top 40" even though this was actually the week that it debuted on the Hot 100 chart.
And Nina did not mention the name of the act for "Nobody's Fool" (Cinderella) before intro-ing "Two People". It doesn't help that another single titled "Nobody's Fool" would be released by Kenny Loggins in 1988.

Alan had an error when going over the changes in Chicago. He advised Will Champlin joined the band in 1981 - but that would be his father Bill.
