Does anybody have a list of what AT40 1980s episodes aired on SXM and what dates they aired by SXM?
I would like to, however, find out the episode that aired on SXM on Labor Day weekend (September 2 or 3) 2006?
Thanks in advance!

I'm interested in a list of '70s and '80s shows aired by Sirius/XM.

I wonder why SXM didn't get to play August 25, 1984? I wonder if it's possible that that particular countdown may be lost or something?

When I first had Sirius before the merger I really liked the 80s DJs/VJs whatever you want to refer to them as being on during the day like it was a real radio station and the Big 40 Countdown. I had XM for several years before it and once they caved to the fringe and it became a jukebox with no personality on the stations at all, Kiss became an in house station, and all I thought Sirius was a breath of fresh air. Now though, it's annoying listening to them talk about God knows what when I hear it. And I wish the Big 40 Countdown they'd either have all 4 together like they are all in studio together or air something...anything else. I don't care if it's old Backtrax USA (which would sound like the new ones but oh well). I hate the constant names give on this board for it but personally I do not like the show much at all and I'll leave it at that.

I'm glad to help but we should also thank Shadster for all the work he did on the 2006-2009 SXM AT40 years (the page on lionking.org is the result of his hard work).

Cool--thanks to Shadster as well!
As far as the Big 40 Countdown...those shows are OK. I really like Martha Quinn and really don't like Nina Blackwood (man does she sound awful these days). Mark and Alan are decent. They do a nice job of adding stories and other tidbits of info like Casey did on AT40, but I have to admit I just like listening to Casey, and don't have enough time to listen to both the old AT40 shows and the Big 40 countdowns.

Same here. I only here it when I'm out and about on the weekend in the car. I am not going to try to figure out how to set up a timer recording for it online.

But as far as I know, that page is 100% acurate......errrr ok 99.9%

Aug 25 1984 was played during the first, but short lived, AT40 run on XM 80s on 8 (Dec 2002-Feb 2003). The show was part of the Casey Kasemas marathon in December 2002 and was broadcast again on Feb 1, 2003. Go to at40fg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=classic&action=display&thread=2078&page=1 for the list of shows played on XM in 2002-2003(the last message on that page). Aug 25, 1984 was also part of the AT40 Flashback series and was played on the week ending Aug 18, 2001 (only the last 3 hours, though). A list of shows played on AT40 Flashback (Dec 2000-Dec 2002) can be found at www.angelfire.com/music4/at40coc/flashback.html A BIG thanks to our moderator, Scott Lakefield and Alfred Gusay who constantly posted updates on AT40 shows on XM in 2002-2003
