Hey guys - may not apply for many of you, but I did a 5 minute task to my cable network last weekend that made life a lot easier. I had my whole house rebuilt about a year before wifi existed, so I have RG6(?) cable wired everywhere to small TV boxes and my comcast modem.
For about the last quarter at my house, kids are screaming at me that the wifi was out for the very important facebook and xbox live. Plus, it was interupting my shows - total fail and adding those little tiny dropouts/blips... probably wrecked about 20 shows.
I actually went to outside box with a wrench and backed out all the coaxial connections about 2 turns and then tightened in. Have not had faster signal in years - and not one drop in service! I think a little corrosion somewhere had went a long way.

A little WD40 on those suckers twice a year will certainly help
