Hi,
AT 40 aired on Sundays in WPLJ in 1990 and 1991 at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. In 1991 (and maybe even before), there was another syndicated show that aired. It was hosted by a guy who played contemporary music. I don't know if it ran from 8-9 or 7-9. Does anyone remember what that show was? I believe WPLJ cancelled it when they moved AT 40 to 8:00 in June of 1991.
thanks
Brian

I'll stab and say it may have been: Joel Denver's Future Hits, Powerline, or On the Radio. At least that's my guess.

The only syndicated show that I can recall before AT40 aired was "On The Radio" by the late Big Ron O'Brien. He was a Philly fixture but did DJ at 99x / WXLO at night (7pm-mid) in the mid '70's.

Ron O'Brien also worked at WNBC in the early to mid-80's.

When Scott Shannon took over the PD job on WPLJ , on the radio was suddenly cancelled.
