I haven't listened to AT40 the 80's yet, originally cause I didn't have internet access and there wasn't a station in my area running the show, but also just because I don't have quite the interest or nostalgia about top 40 music from the 80s'. Lately I have thought of tuning them in, but wondered are they complete shows, or cut like the 1979 shows? Half of the fun of these old shows is hearing the long forgotten shows that never made the top 30. Some were top ten's on the AC, Soul or Country charts.

Fortunately no--the 80's shows as distributed by Premiere all run the full 4 hours (the exceptions are a few individual stations that choose not to play the first hour).

Cool. I will have to listen to them when I have a chance. 3 hours of AT40 the 70's is quite a chunk out of my schedule, but lately I find I am more curious about the 80's shows.
