Prediction for next week's show: 1st Guess - 11/7/87 2nd Guess - 11/5/83 Prediction for next show: 11/7/87 I really don't see it being anything else. After a little over 2 months 1987 is due and the show last aired in 2010. Or 11/7/87 could be played the weekend of November 9th and 10th. 11/5/83 would also make sense for Nov. 2-3, as it was last played in 2011 and, like 1987, we haven't had a 1983 A since August. Agree with mkarns -- it would not surprise me at all if they played 11/5/83 next week, and you could get that show next week and 11/7/87 the following week. Either way, I do think 11/7/87 happens in the coming weeks. I'm hoping they hold off on 1983 for 11/19/83, but I won't bet on it.

Pete told us back in September that "[t]he weekend of October 5 & 6 is the next to last time in 2019 where four shows are offered." That leaves one more such weekend this year. If Premiere is switching to Christmas "B" offerings the second weekend of November as usual, November 2-3 is the last chance for four regular weekly countdowns.
That rules out 11/5/83 as the "A." I think we get 11/7/87 on November 2-3, and I'm personally hoping for 11/12/83 on November 9-10.

For listeners in Europe: Summer time ends on Sunday, 10/27/19, 3 am. Therefore, AT40 starts "one hour earlier".

Things like this were easier when we changed the last weekend in October too. It made sense to move "Spring Forward" up into March, but no real need to have bumped it back a week into November. My mini-rant for the day.

11/7/87 last aired nine years ago (November 6-7, 2010) - the optional extras were: Hour #1: "Power Of Love" - Laura Branigan (#60) Hour #2: "I Live For Your Love" - Natalie Cole (#90; debuted) Hour #3: "Tell It To My Heart" - Taylor Dayne (#43) Hour #4: "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" - Aerosmith (#41) 11/7/81 is an interesting choice since it was just played last year as an 'A' show. Its other airing was the weekend of November 2-3, 2013. Optional extras both times were: Hour #1: "Hooked On Classics" - The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (#74) Hour #2: "Centerfold" - J. Geils Band (#70; debuted) Hour #3: "Under Pressure" - Queen & David Bowi (#80; debuted) Hour #4: "Cool Night" - Paul Davis (#83; debuted)

Things like this were easier when we changed the last weekend in October too. It made sense to move "Spring Forward" up into March, but no real need to have bumped it back a week into November. My mini-rant for the day. It can be even more complicated: In Austria, summer time was first introduced in 1916 in the Habsburg Monarchy and applied for the time being until 1920. It was suspended once in 1919. In 1938 ("the dark chapter of history") the German regulation applied, which brought the reintroduction of summer time. This remained in place until 1948. After the oil crises of 1973, 1979 and 1980, summer time was reintroduced in some European countries in the late 1970s. In Austria, the legal framework for reintroduction was adopted in 1976. The comeback of summer time then took place on 4/6/1980 ( April). In the first year the clocks were changed over at midnight, and since 1981 the changeover from 3 am to 2 am (or vice versa) has taken place in the current form. The only difference at the beginning was that between 1980 and 1995 the last Sunday in September was postponed, only since 1996 the last Sunday in October applies (reason for the shift from September to October were Great Britain and Ireland). The time changes in Western and Eastern Europe will take place at the same time as the changeover in Austria. In the USA, some states, such as Hawaii, do not have summer time. Other countries with summer time include Egypt, Argentina, Australia (partly), Brazil (non-uniform), Iran, Israel, Canada (partly), Mexico and New Zealand.

I think it's time for Premiere´s AT40 planning for 2020. My wish: As many shows as possible that have been broadcast not more than once so far .

My mini-rant for the day. So happy I don't have to deal with that crap, except to manually reset my three atomic clocks that don't understand that I live in a non-DST area. Just have to remember that in two weeks my 'go to' AT40 stations (except for KLFM) will all start an hour later.

Yeah now it's just down to Hawaii and Arizona. Indiana (well, most but not all of) used to not change their clocks until about 2005 or so.

Florida is trying to go to being on Daylight Savings Time year round. I have no interest in this idea at all.
