What about 1983 as the “A” show next week? Have 4/2/83 or 4/9/83 been played too recently to be in the cards for next week?

Either 4/9 or 4/30/83 could show up later in the month. (4/16/83 was guest hosted and 4/23/83 was played two years ago--though if 4/4/87 is next week's A then maybe it can't be ruled out.)

Have to admit that I've enjoyed this 1984 show, even though '84 is probably my least favorite '80s year, if I had to rank them. Enough 'forgotten gems' to keep me interested: "Automatic", "Language Of Love", "Radio Ga-Ga", "The Runner", "Don't Answer Me", "A Fine, Fine Day", to name a few. I think after Phil's upcoming song at #7 I'll go out and enjoy this fine spring day! The top 6 are all more or less OK but nothing I haven't heard plenty of times--and I certainly don't need to hear another LDD. But over all, not a bad show. There is also Matthew Wilder's "The Kid's American" a song that sounds like something the Glee Cast would do.

In addition to ones you mentioned I like One In A Million and Leave It.

Next week 4/4/87! Could this be 'B'? www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-04-87.pdfLast played as 'A' 2017 w/extras: Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "Roll Over Beethoven" - Chuck Berry Hour #2: "Right On Track" - The Breakfast Club (#48) Hour #3: "Heat Of The Night" - Bryan Adams (#42) Hour #4: "I Know What I Like" - Huey Lewis & The News (#54; highest debut) Correct me if I'm wrong, but was 4-4-87 the first show of the new jingle package used from 1987-early 1989? BTW, the old radio shows website is down again

For me next week's "B" program is 04-02-1983. For you, or for everyone else courtesy of Premiere? Seems weird that they'd play a show they just did two years ago as an A while one that was played 11 years ago and never since is a B, but whatever.

No, it's just for me, it could well be 04-02-1983, i don't know exactly.

Any show that aired before Larry Morgan became the announcer have never been used as "B" shows, so we'll have to wait until at least next year to hear it.

I'll go with:
"Day-In Day-Out" "Right On Track" "Heat Of The Night" "I Know What I Like"

I still don't know why they could have used the 1983 show as an A, and the 1987 show as a B, or even another show that ran years ago before these shows as an option. Maybe they should look at the standalone shows from that timeframe and make it an A/B show as an exception once in a while rather than the rule.
