Predictions for the stations with a history of playing the "B" shows: KOLA - 1987 - Has not aired 1980 B show since February 2015 KOOL - 1987 - Usually plays A shows in these situations WFMX - 1987 - Has not passed on 1987 shows KOKZ - 1987 - Has not been airing B shows as often this year WKZG - 1987 - Plays late 80s shows KCCL - 1980 - Did not play new '85 or '86;passed on '87 eight times WMGN - 1987 - Just can't see passing up new show this time. KXGL - 1980 - Has been avoiding A shows this year*. WTIC - 1987 - Does not play 1980 on 2-show weekends. WODC - Both shows - 1980 AM;1987 PM *Repeats show from previous week as frequent as playing B shows Stations that alternate 70s & 80s: WRIT - 1978 - has only played '70 shows twice this year. Needs to catch up. KODS - 1980 - always plays B shows when available;played 1976 today WPAC - 1978 - Plays late 70s shows. I think it will be interesting if 1982 is the A show the first weekend in March.

My optional extra predictions for next weekend's 1987 offering:
"I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" by Aretha Franklin & George Michael "Don't Leave Me This Way" by The Communards (more for referencing a remake of the 1977 #1 disco hit by Thelma Houston) "Dominoes" by Robbie Nevil "The Finer Things" by Steve Winwood

Kind of an odd choice, as this is the second 1987 A show in just over a month, while 1980 and 1981 have both been featured twice as B's in 2016 but neither as A's yet. At least the 2/28/87 show isn't a repeat. Plus, this weekend's "A" option means that 1987 will have been the first year with two "A" offerings in 2016. Every other year had either one show (1982 to 1986, and 1988) or no shows (1980 and 1981) as "A" options so far this year. I have a good feeling there are going to be a lot of 1987 "A" shows this year. Plus, 1987 was one of my most favorite years for AT40.

Since it was the B Show for weekend of 02.06 - I didn't see the extras listed. Anyone know what they were since WODC didn't play them?

Specifically - anyone know what the extras were for the 02.06.1982 B show? I got a hold of this week's extras (as opposed to last week). Here they are: "I Love Rock 'n Roll" - Joan Jett & the Blackhearts "867-5309/Jenny" - Tommy Tutone "Do You Believe In Love" - Huey Lewis & the News "Tainted Love" - Soft Cell

3 people - 80sat40fan, seminolefan, and mrjukebox, if memory serves - guessed 3 out of 4 correct. And not all the same 3.
This week's extras are: "Sign 'O The Times" - Prince "I Knew You Were Waiting For Me" - Aretha Franklin & George Michael "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" - Glenn Medeiros "Come As You Are" - Peter Wolf

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 3/6/82 2nd Guess - 3/8/80
If my prediction for this weekend had been correct (2/27/82), I'd be pretty convinced we'd be getting 1980 next weekend. However, since this weekend is not only not 1982, but the 'B' show is 1980, I'm thinking the odds of that happening are pretty slim.
If it is 3/6/82, it means we'd be getting the show that was originally announced for the first weekend in March last year, but apparently was changed at the last minute.

I forgot to bring it up earlier this week but huge shout outs to Carson Daly for actually bringing up Casey Kasem in this past weekend's "Daly Download".
