I don't usually try to guess the extras, but I'm in the mood. For 12/20/80:
"The Winner Takes It All" - Abba "He Can't Love You" - Michael Stanley Band "Keep On Loving You" - REO Speedwagon "Seven Bridges Road" - Eagles

Beats me, as to why Premiere gave us a Cyndi Lauper MEDLEY, as opposed to just 'Girls just wanna have fun', for an OE. Geez! Is there anything you WON'T complain about?!

Next week's show is indeed from 12/20/1980: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/12-20-80.pdfI do not yet have confirmation as to when the designated year-end countdown will air. However, I DO have confirmation as to what that countdown will be. Should I divulge this now, or should this wait a bit? I'd like to know, but if more people want to wait I'm fine with that. Me too. I don't think you should even post any clues; it'll pique people's curiosity all the more. There's always PM's for people who would like to know sooner (and banning them if they leak the secret onto the MBs)

For Cyndi Lauper medley, did Premiere played snippets put together to medley: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Time After Time, She Bop, All Through the Night, Money Changes Everything, We Are The World (only features of her singing line), Goonies R Good Enough, True Colors, Change of Heart, What's Going On, I Drove All Night?

I'm kinda with him on this one actually, if only because it doesn't seem like "Girls" has been used as an extra that often (if at all?). Had it been taking the place of a frequent extra pick I probably wouldn't bat an eye.

Listen to any 80s station. It airs probably 3-4 times a day. It was something different. And it wouldn't matter what was removed for a medley, he'd be complaining.

I was thinking when "Africa" by Toto was recently used as an extra, that after using a song 4 times it might be a good idea to look for other options.

Coming next year as a 1982 extra: A Toto medley in place of "Africa".
