I don't ordinarily listen to the show on KKLZ, but do they regularly play random filler music during the show? They've kind of overdone it with that, as it's past 9:00 (CST) and they haven't even started Hour 2 yet.

Quick posting here. Next week's "A" show previously aired in 2008, and is from 5/17/1986. The "B" show previously aired in 2012, and is from 5/19/1984. Extras for that remain the same. Another head scratcher. I can't imagine any stations being so outraged with 86 that they go with 1984 instead. Plus SXMs copycat countdown is also in w/1984 next week. Here is something to think about. Two months ago, the last time a 1982/1987 pairing occurred, no stations I know of aired the 4-hour version of 1987. This time there are at least six stations airing the entire 1987 program. The only difference I see this time around is that there are not any rap songs on the 1987 show.

I hope that, in the next few Months, they will play another Episode from 1988 before it is too late. I really liked the one from last Week.

Regarding next week's shows: Didn't we have a similar 1986/1984 earlier this year, first weekend of March? And if so, I think a select few actually opted for the 84 offering. I know of one station that will play it next Sunday night (Abigail).. Does anybody know of which other stations will likely go with 84?

Speaking of that year, KHND is now airing 4/28/84. Interesting. I wonder if they played that last week too, which would be 3 weeks in a row.

It still has a way to go to catch WMLX(goes for 7 in a row tomorrow with 1987).

Could be severe weather--"tornado alley" has been living up to it's name the past few days.

Just heard " '65 Love Affair" - is it just me, or was EXTREMELY low-quality MP3 audio used there? Even listening OTA on WCRZ - as I often do - where I have to rely on an antenna for a signal, none of the rest of the show has sounded as poor-quality as this song did.
ETA: It made me think of listening to a show where I know that its bitrate is something like 64 or 96 kbps. Even OTA, the audio difference was THAT noticeable.
