I know that it's probably way to early for this, but I'm going to predict 2015's year-end show to be 1982. It's one of two year-end shows that has yet to be aired in its entirety by Premiere and, now that they've exhausted all of the shows from the second half of 1982, I'm thinking that, for the first half of the year, they'll air that year regularly, then skimp on it during the latter half, playing only one or two shows (depending on when the last 1982 show during the first half of 2015 is placed) and then running the year-ender starting the last week of December. We'll see how close I am in about a year.

If 1/15/83 was last played in early '09, then we're probably getting some new optional extras. Here is the cue sheet from the original show: charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/01-15-83.pdfHere is the entire Hot 100 from that same week... this is what some of us use to predict optional extras: www.umdmusic.com/default.asp?Lang=English&Chart=D&ChDay=15&ChMonth=1&ChYear=1983&ChBand=&ChSong=The extras featured in 2009 with Mike Kasem doing the voice overs (found way back on page 68 of this thread): Hour #1: "It's Raining Men" - The Weather Girls Hour #2: "Come On Eileen" - Dexys Midnight Runners Hour #3: "Billie Jean" - Michael Jackson Hour #4: "Back On The Chain Gang" - The Pretenders My optional extra predictions for the 1/15/83 show are: * "I Know There's Something Going On" by Frida * "All Right" by Christopher Cross (not on this week's Hot 100 but would debut at #29 on the 1/22/83 chart) * "You Are" by Lionel Richie * "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran Happy New Year, everyone!

Mix 1077 out of Dayton was all messed up today. The first hour was the 1985 show from two weeks ago. They then went to the middle two hours from last week's 1980's part 1 show. Then the final hour was the top ten songs for 1980. I guess getting one out of four hours correct is ok.

I am not surprised we're going to get a 1983 show for the first regular show of 2015. Though I do admit, we are long overdue for a 1983 show after not hearing one since October.
Since we only got three shows from 1988 last year (the last of the 1988 shows having aired last May), I would not be one bit surprised if we get January 23, 1988 later this month. Besides, all of the available shows from February and March 1988 are exhausted, and I would not be surprised if we get a 1988 show later this month. January 23, 1988 would be a repeat, but it would definitely be one worth listening to.
I could even look forward to hearing January 24, 1987, since that has an interesting LDD about Scrabble.

I would like to hear a few 1 1988 shows as well. I had a Billboard subscription that year & didn't listen to as many & wish I had listened to more especially after it was Casey's last year with charts based on Billboard's Hot 100. I would like to hear a show from June 1988 with one of J.J. Fad's "Supersonic" 4 weeks but 1 had Scott Evans so only 3 would be available. Another show I wish they would play is the July 30, 1988 show with Hall & Oates as guest hosts when it aired I recorded the top 20 on cassette so I wish they'd play it so I can complete the so but since Casey didn't host I wouldn't bet on it.

Not to mention that it wasn't a very good show. Both of them sounded very un-enthused about doing the show.

I'm curious would everyone else like to hear 70's & 80's episodes even though it's weeks where Casey had a guest host. For example I'd like to hear Wink Martindale host as I only remember him from hosting game shows & I would like to hear the January 12 1980 show with Mike Cleary featuring the only AT40 playing of "Rappers Delight".
