I hope some others noticed that the 10-3-81 show was remixed at a slightly faster speed. I have noticed this. Also, when I heard the Song "Jessie's Girl", it seemed to be at a higher Pitch. I noticed this with other Songs in the Show. Interesting!

I was under the impression "More Stars" was going to be an ABBA mashup. What version was this?

Odd chart stat for the 10-3-81. Lionel Richie produced 'Share your love with me', for Kenny Rogers. Next song, 'Lady, you bring me up', he sang lead on.

Brett, I thought it was gonna be an ABBA medley, too.

Wikipedia says there is a 12" version that is 11 minutes long that features what we heard, plus some more, plus ABBA. And that the regular version is just the ABBA medley. So what did we hear, I am confused

So what did we hear, I am confused Here’s a caption of the 45 that was played as the extra: (1st and flip-side) www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=2122672I don’t think the ABBA medley of Stars on 45 ever made the US chart, shame though they could mimick the girls' sound in ABBA better than the guys did with the Beatles’ voices. BTW, “More Stars” as the title was a different production when it was released in their native Netherlands. It was this one that was ABBA medley, as in this Dutch 45” caption: www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=795205(so Wikipedia is wrong having a #55 US position here for the ABBA-related entry)

Is it just me, or did the 10/3/81 show seem like it was slightly "faster" than it should have been? Several songs seemed like the beat was every so slightly faster than the original songs, and the pitch was slightly higher. Just curious...

Others have said the same thing earlier in the thread. I'll say that i kind of noticed it with burnin for you, Jessie's girl, and say goodbye to Hollywood but it's a very very slight speed up.
