Is the WSQL stream - in mono? It is for me. Though it is a two-channel stream (certainly capable of stereo), there is no difference between the two channels--mono. And this week, there was reverb throughout the show--even the commercials! I thought it was a problem with my computer's audio set-up. But WSQL also airs network news at the top of some hours and there was no reverb in that. Other than quirky audio sometimes, this is a great station for AT40. The stream is of decent quality, there are no dropouts or timeouts, and their commercial breaks are rarely more than two minutes long!--very light commercial load. They also play all the extras. No 4 hour shows though. Stream link: janus.cdnstream.com:9000/listen.plsWebsite: www.wsqlradio.com/AT 40 The 70s airs Thursdays 7 to 10pm Eastern and repeats: Saturdays 6 to 9pm Eastern

My optional extra predictions for the 3/3/79 show are: * "Heart Of Glass" by Blondie * "I Want Your Love" by Chic * "Shake Your Body" by The Jacksons * "Bye Bye Love" by The Everly Brothers (this was an extra in the final hour of the show but not an AT40 Archives song)

I hope WODC chooses the 1979 show as one of their broadcasts next week.

I hope WODC chooses the 1979 show as one of their broadcasts next week. Based on past communication from countdownmike I would say the chances are almost 100% that the 4 hour 79 show will be played.

The countdown from 3/10/73 is currently on I-Heart Radio's "AT40" channel.

I hope WODC chooses the 1979 show as one of their broadcasts next week. WTOJ will be playing the entire 4 hours of 1979. Starts Sunday morning at 8. That would work as well - I could catch the first hour before getting ready for church. However, if WODC runs the show on Sunday night, I'll probably just wait and catch that one.

I noticed something odd on the 2-25-78 show. There was almost a "no nuttin" moment after Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally" I take it that Casey wanted to get through those Bee Gees records quickly because he sounded a little nauseaous after he mentioned that "How Deep Is Your Love" had spent 16 weeks inside the Top 10-LOL

You said "AT 40 The 70s airs Thursdays 7 to 10pm Eastern and repeats: Saturdays 6 to 9pm Eastern".... is this confirmed that the "new" show airs 2 days before all other stations air it like CKWW did a few years ago on Tuesday nights?

It's funny how WLDE was airing 1978 hr3 switched segments #6-#3, then #11-#7

Actually, Bob Welch wasn't on his own, with 'Ebony eyes. The then-unknown Juice Newton sang backup on it.
